Welcome to Our Site

Kinematics, like those demonstrated in this video, lead to poor performance, increased potential for injury and athletes that may not reach their maximum potential. Accelerated Conditioning and Learning is a website that is devoted to education and training of athletes and all of those who work, train, treat or raise athletes. This was developed as a result of practical experience, extensive review of the scientific literature, clinical research and the efforts of a team of experts in their respective fields. This site is divided into 3 different resource centers, those for physical therapists and athletic trainers, one for coaches and personal trainers, and one for parents and athletes. These resource centers have been developed to serve as an avenue to the most current research based information and training programs. For the health professional as well as coaches, these will provide continuing education units/credits which can serve to fill competency requirements needed for licensure as well as the most current up to date information available in the research. The A.C.L. Program portion of our site is a sports performance enhancement program that was constructed to assist in injury prevention of the ankle, knee, hip and low back, all while improving overall athletic performance.

Our goal: Build Athletes to Perform Better and To Last Longer!

Trent Nessler, PT, DPT, MPT
Founder of Accelerated Conditioning & Learning

Trent is a licensed physical therapist who has worked in the sports medicine arena for over 10 years. With 10 years of personal trainer experience prior to becoming a physical therapist, it was natural for him to seek a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology. The logical next step for him was a Masters in Physical Therapy. Shortly after graduation, Trent began working with high school, college and professional athletes and discovered his true passion and calling. From a natural curiosity to improve his own outcomes and provide his athletes with the most current evidence based treatments, Trent pursued a Doctorate in Physical Therapy with a focus in biomechanics and motor learning. With his experience as a personal trainer and physical therapist, combined with the most current research available, he has strived to develop programs which address the pathokinematics (abnormal movement patterns) in athletes while improving athletic performance. Currently, he is a primary investigator in several large research projects focused on prevention of athletic injuries in athletes. Building better, stronger, faster athletes that last longer!
